Selahattin Özçivi, in his own words is “between two ideas”. In one hand, in the process of inclusion of Sulukule to urban transformation project he feels like he’s been disposed from Sulukule, where he was born and lived. On the other hand, he won the right to own an apartment in Tafloluk and will live in centrally heated apartment for the first time. Urban transformation projects are the most debated agenda of İstanbul and are affecting and changing lives of city-dwellers in many ways. This documentary tells how the city transforms and efforts of a resident who tries to keep up with this transformation. As a street hawker, will Selahattin be able to earn minimum to live in apartment, or will he forced to tranfer the rights for apartment and go away?
