REPRESENTATIVE OF EURIMAGES ( EUROPEAN CINEMA SUPPORT FUND of COUNCIL of EUROPE ) IN TURKEY

He was born in 1970 and graduated from the Philosophy Department of the Boğaziçi University. He worked in the media sector at various positions. He started his career as foreign news correspondent and editor for TV channels. He is still working as the director of Acquisitions Department of a commercial TV channel in Turkey. He was the producer and moderator of a 17 episode philosophy programme for Ülke TV titled “Philosopher on Duty” . He has worked as Deputy Head of Eurimages ( European Cinema Support Fund of Council of Europe ) for a year and is now serving the Turkish Cinema as the represantative of EURIMAGES in Turkey. Involved in many fields of cinema he has sat as a jury member at the Sarajevo Film Festival CINELINK in 2011.

FILM DIRECTOR

Atanas Hristoskov was born in 1976 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated Economics and TV&Film Directing. Atanas worked as a visual effect set supervisor with Nu Boyana Films, a copywriter, art director and director of TV commercials with “Leo Burnett”, Bulgaria. Atanas is a scriptwriter and director of several documentaries and feature shorts, and a director of some popular TV shows in Bulgaria. His first feature film, "N1", got the Golden Rose Award for best Bulgarian film of 2011.

PRESIDENT & CEO of KBS MEDIA

Dae Hyun Cho is the President & CEO of KBS Media, the commercial arm and wholly owned subsidiary company of KBS in charge of global sales and licensing of KBS contents, TV production, cultural & public events planning and home entertainment. Prior to his appointment as the President of KBS Media in November 2011, he was the Executive Vice President of KBS (Korean Broadcasting System). He started his professional career in 1978 as the TV program producer for KBS. With over 30 years of experience in the TV production and also in management positions at KBS, He has held key positions such as the Correspondent to Tokyo Bureau in 1995, Executive Director of Cultural Programs in 2003, Executive Director of Current Affairs and Documentary Programs in 2007. He was appointed as the Managing Director of Television in 2008 and again as the Executive Vice President in 2009. A true advocate of public service broadcasting and highly reputed producer for TV documentary programs, he has produced acclaimed documentary programs and played key role in creating flagship documentary series for KBS such as “KBS Special”. He lives in Seoul, speaks Korean, Japanese and English.

TV producer- director Abdelmajid Jallouli was born in 1952, in Gafsa, Tunisia where he received his primary and secondary school education. Following his sociology education and various trainings at theatre schools he completed his school years at Nouvelle Sorbonne Paris III where he obtained his licence on theatre. He has produced ‘cult’ culture programme “Gallerie des Livres” for television for 5 years. At the Arab Television Session of Cairo in 2001, he was honored with the bronze award for his documentary "Thonniere of Sidi Daoud" . His articles have been published in newspapers and journals of arts ,theatre and film. He currently teaches at the University of Carthage and is preparing his doctoral thesis on “an iconic approach to the Tunisian television dramas (dramatic productions)”.

EDN (EUROPEAN DOCUMENTARY NETWORK ) WEB EDITOR – FILM CONSULTANT – EXPERT OF CULTURAL JOURNALISM & HUMANISTIC COMPUTER INFORMATICS

Ove has been with EDN since Winter 2003 and is in charge of the EDN web site, runs various documentary screenings, workshops, seminars and master classes, participates in the selection of projects to workshops and pitching sessions as well as handling press & communication. Ove’s work with the EDN web site has focused on developing a platform, where a network as geographical divided as EDN’s, can have a meeting place for collaboration and information sharing. This has resulted in formats like EDN Online Master Classes, where leading documentary figures share their knowledge about filmmaking, and EDN Online Sessions, where important financiers are introduced and their financing possibilities presented. Latest format is The EDN Online Pitching Session, where documentary projects with a specific thematic focus are pitching to a selected group of financiers via an online videoconference system. Ove has programmed and/or produced a number of events like The Greek Documentary Lab, New Platforms - New Politics, Twelve for the Future and lately also EDN’s market activities at European Film Market, Sunny Side of the Doc and MIPDOC. In addition he has collaborated with a number of documentary organisations and festivals with tailor making master classes, seminars and workshops for special events and occasions. Ove Rishøj Jensen holds a master degree in film studies with additional studying of cultural journalism and humanistic computer informatics. Besides working for EDN Ove has briefly worked for Filmkontakt Nord. Alongside working for EDN Ove is also working for the Swedish production company Auto Images as Outreach Producer.

Film Director, Actor, Scriptwriter. He was born in 1951 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 1975, he graduated from Moscow State Institute of Theatre Arts. 

Tulyakhodjaev has been working as film director, actor and scriptwriter at Uzbekfilm Studio since 1976. 

He was honoured as the “Worker of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan” in 2001. His films as director : “WELD”, 1987 (Based on the Ray Bradbury’s Stories); “ LETTER” 2008; “WEDDING” 2011. He also played as an actor in 35 movies and has got many “The Best Actor” awards. He wrote more than 10 screenplays and plays and made many award winning animation Films some as : “THERE WILL BE A TENDER RAIN” , THE ENAMOURED HUMPBACK”.

He was born in 1963 in Durres, Albania. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, “The Art of Acting” in Tirana, Albania, in 1987. He has his master degree in “Art of Directing” at the Academy of Arts and Albanian Film Studio “Shqiperia e Re”, Tirane. 

He had training courses on Senior Management of Radio Television and on the production, promotion and marketing of drama and artistic documentary at The Thomson Foundation and the BBC Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. 

He has been working as filmmaker, scriptwriter and director of TV films, feature films, drama documentaries since 1986. As of 2006 he is the Director of the Satellite TV Channel, Albanian Public Radio Television. 

 

PIOTR ZLOTOROWICZ

DIRECTOR

Piotr was born on May 22nd, 1982 in Dębno Lubuskie. In 2007 he graduated Electrical Engineering Faculty at Szczecin University of Technology obtaining M.Sc. degree. Over the years 2001-2006 he was shooting his first amateur films. In 2006 Piotr begins studying film directing at Polish National Film School in Łódź.
